We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Generic Guy with a Beard. Since our products are custom-made to order through our Print-on-Demand partner, Printify, please carefully review our return and refund policy below.

Return Policy

Due to the custom nature of our products, we only accept returns in specific cases:

  • The item is defective or damaged upon arrival.
  • You received the wrong item.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, the item must meet one of the criteria listed above. The item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

To initiate a return, please contact us at hello@genericguywithabeard.com within 7 days of receiving your order. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.

Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for reasons other than damage, defects, or incorrect items received. This includes:

  • Custom products (such as personalized items)
  • Perishable goods
  • Personal care goods (such as beauty products)
  • Sale items or gift cards

Exchanges

Exchanges are only available in cases where the item received is defective, damaged, or incorrect. The fastest way to ensure you receive what you want is to return the item following the guidelines above. Once the return is accepted, you may make a new purchase for the desired item.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is being shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. However, this applies only if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. The item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you if the refund is approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
